“We have used the services of Island Red Cedar for the complete build of a rental carriage home as well as smaller projects, and most recently a major reno to our 1900 miner’s cottage turned home. Because of its age and many changes and additions over several owners, a number of upgrades were required, each with its own challenges.

We couldn’t be happier with the results! Old, settled and out of square homes have ample character, but create extra complications for construction companies!! The skills of the Island Red Cedar team were well-tested many times on this project, but they came through with flying colours as we knew they would, and did it with their usual confidence and communication and consultation with us at every step.

A small company gave us the comfort of being able to speak to the boss throughout the process who was intimately familiar with the project at all times.
